I made it with an aluminum sailboat, shaped as an outline with both sails blown by the wind and a variety of blue and yellow ribbons.
The ribbons are satin cords, satin ribbons and organza ribbons. Their colours are navy blue, turquoise, baby blue, yellow golden and white.
I made a large hoop with the ribbons to hang on the wall and from its knot I hung the flat sailboat component with the blue, glass eye.
On the ribbons, hanging underneath as a fringe, I tied some silver plated alloy beads, some blue glass and ceramic beads and a baby blue, ceramic, butterfly bead.
This sailboat charm and home decor piece measures 40cm in length ( 15.74 '' ) the aluminum sailboat measures 8cm x 8cm (3.14 '' x 3.14 '').
