Brass eye paperweight pebble is a metal, pebble shaped paperweight.
It is a traditional folk Greek design, very often found as a silver church offering for an icon.An offering made by a worshiper who has been helped by the icon, the saint on the icon, specifically.

The eye is very widely used in Greek folk art, even today.
It is very much loved and very decorative. It is also supposed to ward off the evil eye.

This is a wonderfully round, metal peeble of an oval shape, made of aluminum and brass, an alloy called zamma. On top it has a brass eye, as pictured in Greek church offerings and Greek folk art.

It measures about 7 cm in length x 6 cm in height x 2 cm ( 2.75 '' x 2.36 '' x 0.78 '' ) in width.
It's got a heaviness appropriate for a papetweight.
