This is a lovely, wooden box for all purposes.The wooden box with the decoupaged cover is a solid wood, beautifully made, wooden box from India.It opens by pulling the lid apart from the lower part of the box.It closes tightly, but opens relatively easy.It is a great box for money, jewelry, papers, bills, clips and desk things, sweets, keys, all the things you need a box for.It measures about 12cm in length x 9cm in width x 5cm in height.It was decoupaged with a piece of paper on the cover of the wooden box.
The decoupaged cover shows two kids on a sled ona snowy hill, going downhill.It is a retro painting of a boy sitting up front on the wooden sled and a girl behind him, cluthing the boy for support.They are wearing beautiful, retro clothes of the early 20th century.Underneath this retro, Xmas image there is a "Christmas Greetings" written in a calligraphic hand.The Xmas sled picture is 'decorated' with mistletoe, painted all around on the edges of the box cover.
