Christmas bell is a ceramic bell ornament of high fire stoneware clay.
It is a red-brown bell with a tiny, ceramic ball clapper.
A lovely, rustic Christmas bell with stars decor, hand painted stars, like asterisks. There are also dots for decor, in between the 
asterisks. Near the bell rim there is a white line painted. On top of the bell, there is a white ball-bead. 
The ceramic bell is hanging from a piece of off white cord. From the hook knot there are two pieces of cord, hanging, 
falling neatly on the bell, with flat, ceramic round beads tied at the ends.These, tiny flat beads are also off white and shaped 
like tiny coins.
Underneath the clapper there is still another round bead, very similar to the clapper bead, hanging there for decor.
The ceramic bell is wheel thrown and then coloured with red brown slip, which is wet clay with colour. 
Then the star designs are made on its surface and after it's been fired, the beads and cord are added as well.
This holiday decor bell has a lovely, fine bell sound.
It measures about 9cm ( 3.54 '' ) in height and has a diameter of about 8cm ( 3.14 '' ) at the rim.
