This is a solid brass owl figurine, a Greek museum copy piece.It was made of solid brass by Greek artisans in Athens in the traditonal way of casting in an earth mold.It is in very good,unused condition.It is a brass owl figure, sitting a little on the side.This is how it is depicted on so may Greek coins and other, ancient Greek artefacts.It sits on a very elegant, rectangle, aluminum base.Both brass owl and aluminum base are polished beautifully and gleaming.
This classic, Greek owl little sculpture measures 6.6cm in height x 4.4cm in length x 3cm in width. It is not very light and can be also used for a paper weight.
