It is a beautiful piece of modern Greek ceramics.It is an unglazed eye with an inky outline and a turquoise blue iris.It is shaped like a regular eye in an oval shape with pointy edges.The stoneware clay has keeps its natural, ivory/ beige colour.The blue iris was made with shreds of blue glass and ceramic oxides.It has a pattern of an loose spiral.The bulb part of the eye is void, empty, opened up in a hole.So there are two empty, open spaces in this ceramic scultpture on each side of the turquoise blue iris.Roughly shaped like triangles.

The blue eye, according to Greek folklore, protects from the evil eye and all its malevolent portents.If you don't go for that, then you can simply choose it for decor and to use as a unique paperweight.It is an amazing eye art object with great charm and elegance.It will adorn your wall or desk by itself or along with your favourite, decorative items.
