White ceramic pumpkin, hand built, ceramic pumpkin in creamy beige of stoneware clay, life size pumpkin sculpture

 

This here, gorgeous, ceramic pumpkin is a life size piece. It would be a medium to small real pumpkin, but appears big as a sculpture. It was wheel thrown and then hand formed by our, shop member, Opto. It has many beautiful curves and a very cool, very life like handle/stem.
The stem is unglazed with the textured, stoneware grainy surface showing. The pumpkin body is glazed in an opaque, milky beige, also with a tiny grain in it.
This elegant, masterful pumpkin measures 16cm in height x 18cm in diameter. It weighs just over a kilo and a half.
