Lucky acorn ornament

Lucky acorn ornament is a very elegant, ceramic acorn with a New Year 2022 charm. It is a modern acorn sculpture, a soft lime green and brown acorn with a 2022 tag, hanging on the side.

This is a large ceramic acorn, also a Xmas ornament, a very neat acorn art object. Its size is like a medium to large onion. It has a beautiful, minimalist acorn shape with the pointy part of the fruit and the cap. The pointy part, the one eaten by animals of the forest and the farm, is in a soft lime green colour, spotted with a few, white dots. The dots are made by scraping the glaze from the acorn's surface.

The ceramic acormn cap is made in dark brown, with scraped white lines for decor. This gorgeous, modern acorn is hanging from a dark brown, waxed cord, forming a hoop at the center of the acorn cap part. From the waxed cord ends we have hung a doughtnut shaped New Year 2022 charm tag.

This unique, ceramic acorn sculpture was made with stoneware clay, a wheel thrown piece.It was fired twice, the second time with a slip glaze, which is wet clay and colour oxides.It was then tied with the cord and tag/charm.

It measures 10cm in height, (just the ceramic acorn, not the cord), x 7cm in diameter ( 3.93'' x 2.75'').It is solid in clay, but not very heavy.It can be an ornament on your tree, or an everyday, home and office decor sculpture.It would make an elegant, understated gift with its modern looks and minimalist charm.
