For this necklace, I selected two electroplated olive leaves, cut from a small olive tree twig. They are plated with brass and copper, this is why they have both a gold colour and a green patina, a turquoise colour oxidisation. The two leaves in this choker necklace will never be the same of course. Nature makes no two alike. We will always strive for the same length and shape, but slight differences might occur. I have placed them on a piece of gold plated steel wire, that is also plasticised. It is extra storng and very elegant. It makes a very sophisticated piece of jewellery. In its center hang the two, slightly different olive leaves of a little different length for symmetry and flair. There are small, round moonstones between them, as well as disk-like, gold plated, sterling silver spacers. These have a lovely wavy shape.
