Acrylic on canvas is a magnificent little piece by a self taught Athenian painter, who mostly paints on canvas but has lately started pinting on wood.

This is from a new series that he's painted for my gallery, all Greek themes, all with a boat and a fraction of sea in them.

An amazing piece, framed in wood by the artist himself at a very affordable price.
He paints the same theme again, but it is never the same.

It shows a large olive branch, laden with beautiful olives, over a small sea crossing or harbour, with a boat just going in. The colours are intense turquoise, darker turkoise, navy blue, royal blue, shades of white and pink and faded oxblood red.

The painter is not unaccustomed to modern techniques, so his surface has an amazing texture and depth. The almost monochromatic palette here, makes this little painting riveting.

It measures about 16 cm in height x 16 cm in length x 2 cm in width ( 6.29 '' x 6.29 '' x 0.78 '' )
It gets sent to you in an extra safe package of bubble wrap and paper, reinforced with hard cardboard.
